There are different sources of electricity. Most of our electricity today comes from power plants in which power generators are fueled by things like coal and petroleum. Alternatives like solar power and wind power are available as well and increasin…

The present day energy requirements are escalating at a rapid pace due to increasing human population, worldwide. The bulk of energy is generated by coal based thermal power stations that also generate a harmful byproduct, carbon dioxide. Years of discharge of harmful greenhouse gases into the atmosphere has caused global warming. This has led to climate change. The rising sea levels and disturbances in local weather cycles are grim warnings of worse yet to come, in the foreseeable future.
1. What Is Energy 2 Green System?
Energy 2 Green is an innovative concept that strives to address the ecological crisis by putting forward an alternative that is both non-polluting and cheap. It advocates the use of clean energy sources like solar and wind power. Energy 2 Green is a comprehensive guide that consists of instructions, videos and pictures, schematic layouts to build and install the solar panel and wind turbine. The solar panel consists of photovoltaic cells that convert sunlight into electrical energy. The wind runs over the fan blades coupled to a gearbox that drives the generator. The rotation of fan drives the generator to produce electricity. This form of energy is non-polluting and renewable.
2. What Will You Find Inside Energy 2 Green?
Energy 2 Green is a path breaking approach that incorporates cheap technology that can be made widely available to ordinary people, from all strata of the society. People can easily adopt this technology to build and install a solar panel or a wind turbine in the home. Energy 2 Green provides the self-help kit that easily guides the users to build the equipment under $200. This can all be done in the comforts of garage or home, without the need of special engineering skills. The electricity generated can power all home appliances and cut the bill drastically by as much as 50%. Excess energy generated can be sold to local power company for monetary gains. Hence Energy 2 Green is both simple and feasible to adopt.
3. The Ultimate Goal.
Energy 2 Green strives to solve the twin problem of pollution and rising electricity costs by providing a novel concept that needs to be embraced universally, on individual level. This will ensure constant flow of clean energy from an inexhaustible source without endangering the fragile ecosystem.

Which are the Pluses and minuses of Making use of Green Energy Sources?
In today’s times, we are presently conscious of the issues of climatic change. Luckily for us, it isn’t too far gone and we can even so improve, this is why many are continuously pushing for green energy sources.
The advantage of making use of green energy sources is it is clean so quite simple release something unsafe into the atmosphere with which has a visible impact on the ecosystem. It is usually renewable which signifies we will not depletes it contrary to oil, that is estimated to run dry in ten years approximately.
Though green energy systems are pricey to develop, it entails a reduced amount of servicing so you lack to pay lots of money to operate it.
It can possibly bring in economic advantages to a few locations and even supercharge tourism.
Even while these seem very good, there are many who say that you have benefits to employing such technology.
Although green energy sources can yield electrical power, how much it can bring in is not steady. For the reason that we have no restrain of the weather conditions so if a specific area depends on solar energy as there was a climate disturbance, furthermore it won’t be able to change sunlight into electrical power.
Setting up these amenities also demands lots of property so we might have to cut on farmland which is certainly what many are uneasy about if more wind generators need to be set up.
One other negative aspect will be the a lot of the green energy sources cannot really be established in many parts of the earth. As an example, wave energy can merely be put to use if the waves coming from the sea attain at the very least 16 feet. The utilization of geothermal energy can only be done in geologically volatile areas of the planet.
However if you take a look at such misunderstandings, sites that cannot utilize one mode of green energy source could be replaced for another. If wind turbines demand more room, they are often built in close proximity to the shoreline rather of settling these on land. A study exhibits that you may bring in more power while these tend to be in the ocean.
Despite the fact that the climate is something we are not able to regulate, it isn’t everyday that there’s a climate dysfunction so this too shall pass. If solar energy is being employed and the sun is covered, the emergency generators will be triggered and work with up the electrical power that was saved.
I can agree there are ways around the misunderstandings put by particular people which discourage the application of green energy sources. The truth is, research is recurring to harness other means to produce the energy we need.
A decent example of this is whats called ocean thermal energy. Electric power is created by reining in the diverse temperatures in the water. It is currently being utilized on a small scale both in Japan and Hawaii.
In the us, only 7% of green energy sources are used across the country. This was much higher 11 years ago and if we don’t have to settle for the expense of oil or even reduce our dependency on it, we must invest more in this clean energy.
We can get it from green energy sources such as biomass, biodiesel, geothermal, solar, water and the wind. These are things we have all around us and all it takes is for a person to harness it in place of relying on traditional non-renewable means to generate energy.

These days, everyone is talking about green energy, and many people are trying to find ways to reduce electricity costs and help our planet at the same time.
To that end, homemade solar panels are becoming very popular, as they create affordable, clean energy for residences.
It’s not only possible to lower energy costs with solar panels, but you can also earn money from the excess energy produced by your panels.
If you want to make your own homemade solar panels, you must also construct some homemade solar cells.
So, how do you go about making your very own solar cell? Well, first, there are some items that you will need:
- Copper sheeting
- Copper wire
- Thin wood strips
- Duct tape
- Clear plastic sheeting (Plexiglass, Perspex or Acrylic)
- An electric hob ring
- Salt water
- Emery cloth/Sand paper
- A metal guillotine (not essential)
- A bandsaw
- If you are able to get hold of a metal guillotine, use it to cut a 6 to 8 inch square from the copper sheeting. A guillotine is the easiest method of doing this, but tin snips will work adequately, too.
- Next, wash and dry your hands thoroughly. It is crucial that there is no grease on your hands or on the copper sheet. So, take a cloth and remove and dirt, debris or grease from the copper. Then, take a piece of emery and rub the copper down on both sides. When you have finished, the layer of oxidized copper should be gone, leaving you with bright red copper underneath.
- Once this is completed, you will need to expose the copper to a heat treatment to form an oxide coating. I know what you’re thinking, but it’s not as stupid as it sounds, because the layer you will add is different from the one you have removed. The oxide layer that you will now be placing on the copper is a cuprous oxide. So, place the copper over the highest temperature of your burner. In time, a black crust will begin to form on the copper. Once one side has been treated, leave the copper to cool. If you have nitric acid, this can be used to remove the black layer of oxide. If not, tap the copper plate on a hard surface to remove the loose debris then rub it with your fingers.
- Now, you will need to construct a spacer with your pieces of thin wood. Use the duct tape to fasten the wood together, as nails could effect the components of the cell.
- Take a piece of Perspex and stick your electrode wire (copper wire) to it. It is best to use a thick wire and you may want to place it in a zigzag form, as this allows you to see what’s going on. However, you want to block as little sunlight as possible.
- Place duct tape on one side of the copper plate and fasten the Perspex front module to the plate. Obviously, the bright red oxidized side of the copper should face the Perspex. Then, seal the whole cell with duct tape to prevent leakage, but leave a small opening to add water.
- Finally, add salt water to the space between the Perspex and the copper and seal the cell completely.
Then, all you need to do is to connect your homemade solar cell to a multimeter and let the sun do its thing.
