AEG's First Pasta Hob Debuts at IFA 2026

AEG will unveil its first pasta hob, the 7000 series OnePot Pasta, at IFA Berlin on 3 September 2026, the company said in a press release distributed via PRNewswire on 1 September. The hob cooks a set number of pasta portions in 15 minutes, according to AEG, without the cook needing to stir or watch the pot.

AEG also claims the SaphirMatt surface shows up to 10 times fewer visible scratches than its standard hob surface, a durability claim attributed to the company rather than independently tested.

What backs up AEG’s taste claim?

AEG says it partnered with the University of Gastronomic Sciences of Pollenzo in Italy on a blind sensory test with more than 100 participants, comparing a tomato sauce pasta made with OnePot Pasta against the same recipe cooked the traditional stovetop way. AEG states the results showed comparable taste and texture between the two methods.
