Bosch Launches Spotless 2 Robot Vacuum Line, Up to 30,000 Pa

Bosch announced a new generation of its Spotless robot vacuum and mop lineup on 2 September 2026, according to a press release published via the company’s mynewsdesk portal in Munich, Germany. The headline change: the top two Spotless 2 models now vacuum at up to 30,000 Pa, a figure Bosch says is more than double the suction of the original Spotless generation, based on the company’s own internal testing.

What’s new in the Spotless 2 lineup?

Three models make up the new range, all combination vacuum-and-mop robots: the entry-level Spotless 2, the Spotless 2 Advanced+, and the Spotless 2 Max+. The Advanced+ and Max+ share the 30,000 Pa suction claim; the entry Spotless 2 is rated at 25,000 Pa. Bosch says the jump comes partly from a redesigned conical main brush on the Advanced+ and Max+, open on one side so hair unravels and gets pulled into the dustbin rather than wrapping around the brush. The entry Spotless 2 instead uses two rotating mop pads, one of them extendable, plus a “Carbon Power Brush” Bosch says is built to cut down on the same hair-tangling problem.

How does the AI stain detection work?

On the Advanced+ and Max+ only, a camera and AI system watches the floor as the robot cleans. When it spots a stubborn stain, Bosch says the robot stops vacuuming, lifts its main and side brushes clear of the floor, and spot-cleans the mark with its mop roller before returning to the dock to rinse the roller clean. Those two models mop with an extendable, antibacterial-treated mop roller that lifts 15mm automatically over thicker carpet so vacuuming does not leave the carpet wet. The entry Spotless 2’s mop pads lift a smaller 9mm for carpet protection.

Navigation also differs across the range. The entry Spotless 2 uses 360-degree LDS lidar with structured light. The Advanced+ adds time-of-flight lidar, structured light, a camera and infrared sensors for driving in dark rooms and corners; the Max+ adds side sensors on top of that.

What about the dock and hygiene features?

All three models pair with a wet-and-dry service station that Bosch says washes and dries the mop roller or pads with hot water and hot air up to 75°C, tops up cleaning solution automatically, and charges the robot. On the Advanced+ and Max+, the temperature of that mop-rinse water can be set room by room through Bosch’s app; the company’s suggested settings are 40°C for bedrooms and living rooms, 55°C for kitchens or children’s rooms, and 75°C for bathrooms. Bosch also says the dust bag and the filter both carry an antibacterial treatment meant to help contain allergens and trapped dirt, and that all three models carry a 10-year warranty on the TurboSpin motor.

How does it connect to your smart home?

Every Spotless 2 model is controlled through Bosch’s Home Connect app, with no-go zones, a settable room cleaning order, scheduling, and Matter integration for linking into a wider smart-home setup. Bosch states that device data from the robots is stored on European servers and handled in line with the requirements of Germany’s Federal Office for Information Security, the BSI.

Where this leaves the existing Spotless lineup

The Spotless 2 line is a distinct, newer product family rather than a refresh of those existing models, and Bosch has not said what happens to the original lineup once Spotless 2 ships. When can you buy one, and what will it cost?

Availability is staggered. The entry Spotless 2 reaches shops from September 2026, the Spotless 2 Advanced+ follows in October 2026, and the Spotless 2 Max+ arrives in January 2027. Neither Bosch’s press release nor its product category page discloses pricing for any of the three models.

For anyone shopping for a robot vacuum right now, the practical choice is between buying into Bosch’s proven, already-listed first-generation Spotless range today, or waiting for Spotless 2 pricing to surface once the entry model reaches shops next month. Buyers who specifically want AI stain detection or the higher suction figures will need to wait longer still, since the Advanced+ and Max+ models carrying those features do not ship until October 2026 and January 2027 respectively.
